What instrument would you like to learn at Forte?

Here at Forte we provide creative and inspiring 1:1 music lessons for children, young people and adults. We ensure only the best tutoring experience, which means our teachers are fully qualified and very knowledgeable in their field. The talented Forte teachers are passionate about music and experts in planning music lessons, which work for all our students.

Guitar

Guitar lessons at Forte are a fantastic way to learn to play, whether you're a beginner or an experienced player.

For beginners our tutor can teach you the basics such as guitar anatomy, tuning and strumming technique. For more advanced players the lessons can focus on grades, refining technique and performance.

These 1:1 lessons are great for ages 7+ including adults. All abilities are welcome as the lessons are tailored to each individual.

Drums

At Forte we offer a contemporary approach to drum lessons. Declan our drum teacher will help you learn to play the drums to your favourite songs, whilst learning the theory behind the music.

We also offer our students the chance to take their grades. We do this in line with MTB - The Music Teachers' Board. MTB exams are recorded and submitted from right here at Forte, helping to eliminate any exam nerve and stress.

These 1:1 lessons are great for ages 5+, including adults. All abilities are welcome as the lessons are tailored to each individual.

Violin, Viola & Cello

During your Violin and Cello lessons you will learn technique, how to understand tone production, as well as learn to read and interpret music artistically.

During your lessons you will also work on performance practice. Our Violin and Cello teacher will help you to create and achieve your goals.

These 1:1 lessons are great for ages 5+, including adults. All abilities are welcome as the lessons are tailored to each individual.

Piano

Piano lessons at Forte are great for many different reasons. You will learn from our own specially devised curriculum, fully equipped with books, backing tracks and audio downloads that support your learning journey, both in lesson and at home.

These 1:1 lessons are great for ages 10+ including adults. All abilities are welcome as the lessons are tailored to each individual.
